Overview

IQart is an art quiz app developed as an independent project. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect (none) and how the app handles your data.

In short: We do not collect any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework and standard storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

Quiz progress — Your answers, scores, streaks, and daily challenge progress
Collection — The paintings you have unlocked by answering correctly
Purchase state — Whether the full version has been unlocked

This data is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Names, email addresses, or contact information
Location data
Device identifiers (advertising ID, vendor ID, or any unique identifiers)
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Photos, camera, microphone, or any sensor data
Browsing history or search queries

Offline Operation

All quiz questions and artwork images are bundled with the app. IQart works fully offline and makes no network requests of its own. The only network communication is purchase processing, handled entirely by Apple’s App Store (see below).

In-App Purchases

The app offers a one-time purchase that unlocks the full quiz mode. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple using their secure payment infrastructure. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any transaction details beyond what Apple provides to developers in aggregate sales reports.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. There are no:

Analytics services (no Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
Advertising networks
Crash reporting services
Social media integrations
Tracking or attribution tools

Children’s Privacy

IQart is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or adults. Since the app collects no personal data whatsoever, it is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to share.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard mechanisms, it is protected by your device’s built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your locally stored quiz progress and collection can be reset by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated effective date. Significant changes will be noted in app update release notes.
