Overview

20 Peas is a daily gratitude practice app developed as an independent project. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect (none) and how the app handles your data.

In short: We do not collect any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:

Your moments — The positive moments you log each day, including optional text labels and timestamps
App preferences — Language, sound, reminder times, and canvas layout settings

If you use the home screen widget, this data is shared between the app and the widget through a local App Group container on your device. It still never leaves the device.

This data is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Names, email addresses, or contact information
Location data
Device identifiers (advertising ID, vendor ID, or any unique identifiers)
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Photos, camera, microphone, or any sensor data
Browsing history or search queries

No Network Access

The app does not make any network requests. It functions entirely offline. There are no accounts and no servers.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated and delivered entirely by iOS — no notification data is sent to us or to any third party. You can disable reminders at any time in the app settings or in iOS Settings.

In-App Purchases

The app offers optional donations (tips) through Apple’s App Store. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple using their secure payment infrastructure. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any transaction details beyond what Apple provides to developers in aggregate sales reports.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple’s own native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, WidgetKit, StoreKit, AVFoundation). There are no:

Analytics services (no Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
Advertising networks
Crash reporting services
Social media integrations
Tracking or attribution tools

Children’s Privacy

20 Peas does not collect any personal information from children or adults. Since the app collects no personal data whatsoever, it is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to share.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard mechanisms, it is protected by your device’s built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your locally stored moments and preferences can be erased at any time using the reset option in the app settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated effective date. Significant changes will be noted in app update release notes.
